You've Been Obamad!

So, remember a couple of weeks ago when your President got on TV and told the people of this country that his would be a government of transparency, and that he would not be appointing former lobbyists to posts unless those posts were unrelated to their lobbying activity?

Remember when he said that if someone leaves their post to become a lobbyist, they would be forbidden entirely from lobbying the administration? You do, don't you? This guy that you voted for, placed all your hopes in... The guy who promised you the world on a silver platter and to 'change' things in Washington, he said these things. You've been paying attention right?

Two days after making this announcement that caused you to 'ooh' and 'ahh', your President opted to appoint William Lynn as Deputy Secretary of Defense. William Lynn is a former lobbyist for Raytheon, one of the biggest defense contractors out there. Sounds like a conflict of interests, right?

Now, Obama is appointing Tim Geithner to the role of Treasury Security. Don't know who Tim is? Oh, well he's a former lobbyist for Goldman Sachs. You know, one of the biggest contributors to the Obama campaign and one of the biggest single beneficiaries from these economic stimulus packages that we seem to be giving out like free condoms. Wait, isn't that a conflict of interests, too?

But if you're trying to change cronyism and this corporate government that has all but destroyed our economy and our country as a result, then why would you appoint corporate used car salesmen into some of the most important posts in the country? The Treasury... that seems important. Call me crazy, but the Department of Defense does, too. Why are we hiring people whose former jobs entailed syphoning massive amounts of money from taxpayers into corporate coffers?

Oh, I know! Because you're retarded! You morons elected a guy who duped you. He said all the right things, and because you were desperate to wash the taste of George Bush out of your collective mouths, you bought it hook, line, and sinker. Turns out he's the same old corporate lackey you've come to know and loath, and he's at the helm of a country you have no choice but to sink and die in.

In case you missed this in the news, he has also publicly sided with the Bush administration where it concerns wire tapping of U.S. citizens without a warrant. So watch what you say, because fascism ain't just a word we conveniently throw around to vilify other nations anymore. Oh, and he'll be wasting another 800 billion of your children's futures soon under the guise of 'economic stimulus', and no doubt three to four trillion in the years to come.

So let's recap: he doesn't care about campaign promises, transparent government, your freedom as an American, or your children's futures, and all this within two weeks of taking office. I'll tell you I told you so now, to save me the trouble of having to do it later.
